Documentation for ProTrack Warehouse 2012 Q2.

Activities in ProTrack Warehouse are functions that take place in the facility. Activity Types Break/Lunch, Delay, Indirect, and Standard Direct can be added into the system. The options available in the Maintain Activity screen depend on the user privileges.

Caution

  • There can only be one Activity for each assignment in the WMS transaction feed. Otherwise, the Standards will not be applied correctly and thus the reporting will not be accurate.

To access the Maintain Activity screen:

  1. Log in to ProTrack Warehouse.
  2. Select Activity under the Configuration menu. The Maintain Activity screen appears.

    Maintain Activity Field Descriptions

    Field

    Description

    Activity Name

    Type an Activity name, which is alphanumeric (Combination of Alphabets and Numbers).

    Activity ID

    Type a unique alphanumeric Activity ID.

    Activity Type

    Select the activity type, either Break/Lunch, Delay, Indirect, or Standard Direct.

    Activity Status

    Select the status of the activity, either Active or Inactive.

    Standard Type

    The only choice is WMS regardless if the assignment is worked via RF or Kiosk.

    Unpaid

    Select the Unpaid check box if the activity is Unpaid.

    Enter Pre KVIIf enabled, the user can enter KVI counts before the kiosk assignment has been started.
    Enter Post KVIIf enabled, the user can enter KVI counts after the kiosk assignment has been completed.
    Supervisor Approval CodeIf enabled, the activity will require supervisor approval before the delay or indirect will be applied to the employee's day.

Adding An Activity

To add a new activity:

  1. Type the Activity ID, Activity Name, and Description.
  2. Select Activity Status, Activity Type, and Standard Type from the respective drop down lists.
  3. Select the 'Unpaid' check box if the Activity Type is selected as Break or Lunch.

  4. Click  to save the activity.

 

Searching Activities

To search for particular activities:

  1. Click  in the Maintain Activity screen and the Search Activity screen appears.

  2. Type the Activity ID, Activity Name, Activity Type, Activity Status, or Supervisor Approval.

    Tips

    • To list Activities with names starting with a particular character, enter the character into the field. For example, to search activities starting with the character 'C', enter 'C' in the Activity Name to list activities with names starting with C.
    • If no search criteria are specified all the activities will be listed in the 'Activity Search Results' section.
  3. Click  in the Search Activity screen. The records matching the selected criteria are listed in the 'Activity Search Results' section.

Viewing & Editing Activity

To view and edit an activity:

  1. Search and list the activities you want to view or edit in the 'Activity Search Results' section.
  2. Click the Activity Name link from the 'Activity Search Results' section. The details of the selected activity appear in the corresponding fields in the Maintain Activity screen.

  3. Change the required fields and click  to save the changes.

    Tips

    • The fields Activity Status, Unpaid, and Activity Description can be edited and other fields cannot be edited.
    • If you have made the changes in the fields and do not want to save the details, click before you save the changes.
    • If you want to add an activity at this point, click to clear the fields and to bring the screen to the add mode.



Deleting An Activity

  • Activities that are linked to any other records in the system cannot be deleted.

To delete an activity:

  1. Search for the activity that will be deleted.
  2. Click the Activity Name link from the 'Activity Search Results' section. The details of the selected activity appear in the corresponding fields in the Maintain Activity screen.

  3. Set the Activity Status from Active to Inactive. Click .

  4. Select the check box to the left of the Activity Name in the 'Activity Search Results' section.

  5. Click  to delete the activity.
