Documentation for ProTrackWarehouse 2017.1.

This screen is used to add, edit, and delete facilities. Facilities are used in ProTrack Warehouse to segregate functional activities, operations, warehouse maps, and all other associated data.

Accessing Facility

  1. Log into ProTrack Warehouse.
  2. Select Facility from the Configuration drop down menu. 



     

Field

Description

Facility Name

Enter the facility name as it will appear on reports.

Facility ID

Enter a unique facility ID which matches the facility ID sent in the WMS transaction feeds.

Telephone 1

Enter a telephone number for the facility.

Telephone 2

Enter an alternate telephone number for the facility.

Time Zone

Select the time zone of the facility from the drop down list.

Expected Performance

Enter an expected performance for the facility.

Facility Status

Select the status of the facility, either Active or Inactive.

Create Indirect Assignment

If checked, allows an employee to create an Indirect assignment via the kiosk.

Create Standard Assignment

If checked, allows an employee to create a Standard Direct assignment via the kiosk.

Multiple Standard Activity
Per Work Order

If the Manufacturing Module is enabled, a facility can be configured to allow either single or multiple standard
direct activities for a "work unit"

Address Line 1

Enter the first line of the address of the facility.

Address Line 2

Enter the second line of the address of the facility.

City

Enter the city of the facility.

Zip Code

Enter the zip code of the facility.

Country

Select the country which the facility is located.

State

Enter the state of the facility.

Description

Enter any notes about the facility.

Adding a Facility

  1. Enter a facility name.
  2. Enter a facility ID.
  3. Select the time zone from the drop down list.
  4. Select the status of the facility from the drop down list.
  5. If employees will be creating assignments through the kiosk, select the check box(es) next to Create Indirect Assignment and/or Create Standard Assignment.



  6. Click on the 'Settings' tab.
  7. Select how overtime will be calculated, either Daily or Weekly.
  8. Enter how many hours must be acquired before overtime will be considered.



  9. Click Save to create the new facility.

 

Searching For A Facility

  1. Click Search and a popup window appears. 



  2. To search for a specific facility, enter one of the criteria: Facility or Facility ID. The records for the selected criteria are listed in the 'Facility Search Results' section. 



    Tip

    • To list Facilities with names starting with a particular character, enter the character into the field. For example, to search facilities starting with the character 'C', enter 'C' in the Facility field to list facilities starting with C.
    • If no search criteria are specified, then all the facilities will be listed in the 'Facility Search Results' section.
    • Use the wild card (%) to find items that have the selected letter within the name. For example, to search facilities with a character 'c', enter '%c%' in the Facility field to list facilities that have the letter c in the name.

 

Editing A Facility

  1. Search for the facility you want to edit.
  2. Click on the link of the facility. The details of the facility appear in the corresponding fields in the Maintain Facility screen.
  3. Change the required fields and click Save to update any changes made.

    Info

    • The Facility ID field cannot be edited.
    • If you have made the changes in the fields and do not want to save the details, click Reset.
    • If the time zone is edited, ProTrack Warehouse service must be restarted for the changes to occur.

 

Configuring Kiosk Sign In/Out

  1. Search for the facility that will be using the Kiosk Sign In/Out functions.
  2. Click on the 'Settings' tab.

  3. Select the check box to the left of Clock In/Out to enable it.
  4. Now select either Actual or Round time.

  5. If round time, then enter the Before and After mins.
  6. Click Save.

    Actual TimeCaptures true start and end times for the Clock In and Clock Out punches.
    Round TimePunches that fall within the configured buffer duration will get rounded to the assigned schedule.
    Before MinsBuffer duration before an assigned schedule of the Clock In and Clock Out punches. If the punch falls within this buffer duration, then the punch will be rounded to the assigned schedule time.
    After MinsBuffer duration after an assigned schedule of the Clock In and Clock Out punches. If the punch falls within this buffer duration, then the punch will be rounded to the assigned schedule time.

     

     

 

Configuring The Time Clock

  1. Search for the facility that will be using the Time Clock functions.
  2. Click on the 'Settings' tab.
  3. Select the check box to the left of Time Clock to enable it.
  4. Now select either Actual or Round time.

  5. If round time, then enter the Before and After mins and select whether or not the employee will be required to punch back in after a break and/or lunch.

    After MinsBuffer duration after an assigned schedule of the Clock In and Clock Out punches. If the punch falls within this buffer duration, then the punch will be rounded to the assigned schedule time.
    Require Return Punch after BreakIf enabled, the employee will be required to come back to the Time Clock and press the Return Break button to end the break. By default, this option is disabled which will automatically end the break for the employee by using the duration found in the assigned schedule.
    Require Return Punch after LunchIf enabled, the employee will be required to come back to the Time Clock and press the Return Lunch button to end the lunch. By default, this option is disabled which will automatically end the lunch for the employee by using the duration found in the assigned schedule.


     

Configuring Cost Savings

  1. Search for the facility that will be tracking cost savings.
  2. Click on the 'Savings' tab.
  3. Select the check box to the right of Use Savings Baseline.
  4. Enter the Productivity and Utilization target metrics.
  5. Click Calculate to generate the Total Performance %.
  6. Enter the Start Date of when ProTrack will track savings for the facility.
  7. Enter the duration of the period, in weeks.
  8. Enter in the Average Pay Rate.
  9. Select the check box to the right of Use Actual Pay Rate if employees have been configured with individual pay rates.
  10. Click Save.
