Documentation for ProTrackWarehouse 2018.1.
Activities in ProTrack Warehouse are functions that take place in the facility. Activity Types Break/Lunch, Delay, Indirect, and Standard Direct can be added into the system. The options available in the Maintain Activity screen depend on the user privileges.
Caution
- There can only be one Activity for each assignment in the WMS transaction feed. Otherwise, the Standards will not be applied correctly and thus the reporting will not be accurate.
To access the Maintain Activity screen:
- Log in to ProTrack Warehouse.
- Select Activity under the Configuration menu. The Maintain Activity screen appears. 
 
 Fig.1 Maintain Activity- Maintain Activity Field Descriptions - Field - Description - Activity ID - Type a unique alphanumeric Activity ID. - Activity Name - Type an Activity name, which is alphanumeric (Combination of Alphabets and Numbers). - Activity Type - Select the activity type, either Break/Lunch, Delay, Indirect, or Standard Direct. - Standard Type - The only choice is WMS regardless if the assignment is worked via RF or Kiosk. - Indirect activities are now saved automatically as a Non Standard type to allow these activities to be added to Activity Groups. - Activity Status - Select the status of the activity, either Active or Inactive. - Default UOM - Specify unit of measure: Cube, Line, Units, and Weight. - Unpaid - Select the Unpaid check box if the activity is Unpaid. - Enter Pre KVI - If enabled, the user can enter KVI counts before the kiosk assignment has been started. - Enter Post KVI - If enabled, the user can enter KVI counts after the kiosk assignment has been completed. - Supervisor Approval Code - If enabled, the activity will require supervisor approval before the delay or indirect will be applied to the employee's day. - Manufacturing - If the Manufacturing Module is enabled, you will have the ability to mark an activity as Manufacturing. Only these activities will 
 be listed as workable activities within the Control screen and Kiosk.- Allow Delay Reason - When a delay is entered through the kiosk, this allows the user to enter a reason code for the delay. - Activity Description - Describe the activity. - Track Category - A configurable term that could be used to track work performed against a division, customer, or any other attribute important to the organization. - TA Activity Code - If the activity will be sent through time and attendance feed, specify TA code here. - Table 68. Adding An Activity
To add a new activity:
- Type the Activity ID, Activity Name, and Description.
- Select Activity Status, Activity Type, and Standard Type from the respective drop down lists.
- Select the 'Unpaid' check box if the Activity Type is selected as Break or Lunch.

- Click to save the activity.
Searching Activities
To search for particular activities:
- Click in the Maintain Activity screen and the Search Activity screen appears.

- Type the Activity ID, Activity Name, Activity Type, Activity Status, or Supervisor Approval. - Tips - To list Activities with names starting with a particular character, enter the character into the field. For example, to search activities starting with the character 'C', enter 'C' in the Activity Name to list activities with names starting with C.
- If no search criteria are specified all the activities will be listed in the 'Activity Search Results' section.
 
- Click in the Search Activity screen. The records matching the selected criteria are listed in the 'Activity Search Results' section.

Viewing & Editing Activity
To view and edit an activity:
- Search and list the activities you want to view or edit in the 'Activity Search Results' section.
- Click the Activity Name link from the 'Activity Search Results' section. The details of the selected activity appear in the corresponding fields in the Maintain Activity screen.

- Change the required fields and click to save the changes. - Tips - If you have made the changes in the fields and do not want to save the details, click before you save the changes.
- If you want to add an activity at this point, click to clear the fields and to bring the screen to the add mode.
 
Deleting An Activity

- Activities that are linked to any other records in the system cannot be deleted.
To delete an activity:
- Search for the activity that will be deleted.
- Click the Activity Name link from the 'Activity Search Results' section. The details of the selected activity appear in the corresponding fields in the Maintain Activity screen.

- Set the Activity Status from Active to Inactive. Click .

- Select the check box to the left of the Activity Name in the 'Activity Search Results' section.

- Click to delete the activity.
