The Schedule screen allows creating, searching, viewing, and expiring schedules. A schedule consists of a group of configured schedule types with or without start time that can be assigned to multiple employees simultaneously. Available operations on this screen will vary depending on the user privileges.

  • If no schedule is assigned to an employee then the schedule assigned to the Facility will be used.

  • The term "Schedules" should not be confused with "Work Schedules". "Work Schedules" in ProTrack are date-specific instances of a specific employee's work day. ProTrack creates a unique Work Schedule for every employee on each day that they have assignments. An employee's configured Schedule for a particular day is used to build that day's Work Schedule.


To access the Schedule screen:

  1. Log in to ProTrack Warehouse.
  2. Select Schedule under the Employees menu. The Schedule screen appears.

    Schedule Field Descriptions

    Field

    Description

    Schedule Name

    Specify a unique Schedule Name, which is alphanumeric. (Combination of Alphabets and Numbers)

    Effective Date

    Date the Schedule becomes Active.

    StatusStatus of Schedule, Active or Inactive.
    Schedule TypeSchedule Type assigned to the Schedule.
    DescriptionSchedule Description
    Start TimeSchedule Start Time. If Start Time is not entered then the first assignment of the day will be used to determine the employee's schedule Start Time.
    Use Start Time only for Labor Planning CheckboxIf this checkbox is selected then the entered start time will be used to determine the employee's schedule Start Time in labor plan. If not selected then the entered Start time will not be used for determining employee's schedule Start Time.

    Add Button

    This is used to create a new Schedule.

    SaveSave the changes to an existing or new Schedule.
    DeleteDelete an existing Schedule.

  3. Click  button to define a Schedule Type and Start Time for each week. Week layout will popup.

          4. Click  button to define a Schedule Type and Start Time for each day. Day layout will popup .

          5. Click on button to collapse the Daily view.

          6. Click on to configure Schedule for multiple weeks.

Adding Employee To Schedule 

To add Employees to Schedule:

  1. Click  button to search employee(s).

       2. Click on icon to add additional filter options.

  •  Click on will open Filter Criteria popup.
  •  will add the selected filters for searching the employees.

  3. Select the employee(s) and drag to schedule section

4. Enter the effective date from when the schedule will be effective for the employee.

5. Employee row will be created in the Schedule Section. icon means that the employee schedule is effective in future.

6. Click on Save button to save the employee schedules.

7. Employee's Schedule Details will be shown in the Employee Details section on right hand side.


Searching Schedules

To search for schedule:

  1. Click  in the Schedule screen

  2. Type or select any of the search criteria: Schedule Name, Description, or Include inactive.
     

  3. Click  in the Search Schedule section. The records matching the selected criteria are listed in the 'Schedule Search Results' section of the Schedule screen.

  4. Click on the Schedule Row to view the details in Schedule Section.

Schedule History:
  1. Changing Schedule Details like effective Date, Schedule Type, Start Time (at both schedule level or weekly or daily level) will automatically create the schedule history.
  2. History Section will give the Schedule History Details

     3. History Section is divided in 3 sub sections - Past, Current and Pending.

  • Past Section will show the schedules Effective Date and Expiration Date in the past. 
  • Current Section will show the effective date of the schedule effective currently. 
  • Pending Section will show details of the schedule effective in future (if any).
  • Clicking on Details button will show the schedule details during that time.
