Summary
Business Intelligence

This release introduces the ProTrack Business Intelligence (BI Pro) capability, allowing users to use an advanced data analytics engine to visualize and drill into ProTrack's labor management data. The new BI Pro requires no technical knowledge to create data visualizations which can be easily filtered and explored by end users. The new BI Pro and base BI include several dashboards that cover many of the most common labor management KPIs. BI Pro users can duplicate and extend the base dashboards to cover additional reporting needs. It is also possible for BI Pro users to create their own dashboards from scratch.
Sharing & Pulse

Within the BI, users can share dashboards among users within their organization. Users also have numerous export options for dashboards that allow the information to be shared with other users who do not directly have access the the BI. Users can also subscribe to dashboards to receive an email containing the information from the dashboard. Finally, users of the BI also have access to Pulse. Pulse allows users to track individual metrics on a centralized dashboard. These metrics can send emails to alert users when the metric exceeds a user defined threshold.
Authentication
The 2019.1 release also introduces a new authentication and login process to ProTrack. The new login page allows users to reset their own password if they have an email configured in ProTrack. The new authentication process can also support Single Sign On (SSO). Contact your Customer Success Manager for more information if you are interested in the SSO capability.
Report Improvements

Other improvements include a new report display screen for Ad Hoc reporting and Trip Audit. Both reports include the same information as before, but are displayed in a new layout. The new layout also includes simpler export capabilities for PDF and Excel (CSV). The Excel export format is improved over the previous version and should require less manipulation of the data in order to work with the data outside of ProTrack.
Other Changes
Kiosk
Several performance improvements have been made to the kiosk screen. The time to interact with the screen has been reduced by eliminating several refreshes of the screen that previously occurred.
Employee Profile
Added a field for employees to add their email address. Email is required for BI Pro users.
Reports
The Cost Performance Reports screen has been retired in this version in favor of the Ad Hoc report and the advanced reporting capabilities for the BI Pro.

Visual Trip Audit
ProTrack's Visual Trip Audit allows at-a-glance visibility into anticipated travel paths, allowing users to quickly spot misconfigured paths or wrongly slotted products and use the knowledge to reduce excessive and unnecessary employee travel.
After selecting the assignments to audit from the Daily Inquiry screen, Visual Trip Audit can now be selected from the Trip Audit dropdown list.

By selecting individual task lines, a user can drill down into each step of the trip and watch the expected path through the facility.

Equipment Customization
Equipment can now be customized in several new ways.
Equipment Access Rules
First, an "Access Rule" can be applied to any piece of equipment. If an Aisle has one or more access rules, a piece of equipment must belong to one of those access rules to be able to use that aisle for travel.
Here, an Aisle assigned the "Narrow Aisle" access rule.

Next, one or more pieces of equipment can be assigned to this access rule. Only these pieces of equipment will be able to access the Narrow Aisle configured above.

One-Way Travel
Equipment can now be configured as "One-Way" equipment. If an Aisle Path has also been configured to be "One-Way", then this equipment can only travel down that Aisle Path in the configured direction.
One-Way Aisle Paths are marked with an arrow in the direction of the path on the facility Layout screen.

"Dolphining"
When picking from elevated spots within the same aisle, the employee may not return to the floor between picks and instead move directly from one elevated location to another. We call this method of picking "Dolphining."
- Without dolphining, travel time will be credited for returning to the floor, moving to the next location, then raising back into the air.
- With dolphining, the travel is calculated directly from one location to another, while remaining in the air.
Setting a Max Dolphin Distance allows control over how far an employee is able to travel without returning to the floor for the purposes of travel calculation.
- Dolphining calculations will only be used within the same aisle.
- Dolphining distance can be customized for individual pieces of equipment.
Angled Aisle Paths
ProTrack now supports travel calculations for aisle paths that are at angles rather than directly North/South or East/West.
Aisles can now be imported with X/Y coordinates that create an angled aisle path.

Multi-Floor Travel
When traveling between floors, travel paths can now follow all the same rules as Aisles. Travel paths can be one way and have equipment access rules.
Travel paths now also support a distance. This allows the start and end coordinates of the travel path to represent their location on each floor, and the distance used for the calculation of travel time will come from the separate distance values. This makes configuration around travel paths between floors simpler.
It is also important to note that travel between floors should always occur in such a way that a floor is fully contiguous. For example, to calculate travel correctly, a mezzanine that exists in two distinct areas of the warehouse and are not connected by any aisles should be split into two floors, Mezzanine A and Mezzanine B. Failure to keep these areas as distinct floors can increase the likelihood of calculated travel being used when traveling between floors
