Labor Planning

This screen enables forecasting and planning labor demand. The ability to forecast and plan labor in a warehouse will enable you to:

The options in the Labor Planning screen are dependent upon the user privileges.

To access the Labor Planning screen:

Log in to ProTrack Warehouse.
Select the Labor Planning tab under the Analysis menu. The Labor Planning screen appears.

Labor Planning screen helps you setup a plan, view the progress of work for the plan setup, and modify the plan.

Labor Planning Tabs

Tabs	Description
Plan Info	Displays the type of plan selected, the employees that are assigned to the plan, and the source of data for the labor planning process.
Plan Recap	Displays all the segments that are configurable.
Plan Progress	Displays the progress of work in every planning level and also expected end time for the work.
Employees	Displays all the assigned and released employees.

Labor Planning Screen Sections

Tab	Section	Description
Plan Info	Schedule Plan	Select a date of the earliest schedule in the shift for the Start Time and select the latest schedule in the shift for the End Time.
Plan Info	Plan Resource	Lists all the employees available to be assigned to the labor plan. Check the box to the left of the employee's name to mark them absent.
Plan Info	Data Source	Select an option for calculating standard work for the labor plan. Planned Data - Specify the From and To dates which will be used for calculating standard work. Historical Data - Specify a certain date which will be used for calculating standard work.
Plan Recap	Segment Settings	Select which segments will be the used to create the labor plan. Employees are first assigned to a plan segment with the highest priority. (Refer to the Configuration Manual for more details.)
Plan Progress	Progress Indicator	Displays the progress of work in a particular plan segment.
Employees	Assigned Employees	Lists all employees assigned to a plan segment.
Employees	Released Employees	Lists all employees that have either been released from a plan segment or have yet to be assigned to a plan segment.
