Quality is an important measurement of an individual's performance. The information regarding quality is maintained at the individual level and can be provided to ProTrack Warehouse through an interface or manual entry.

To access the Quality Update screen:

  1. Log in to ProTrack Warehouse.
  2. Select Quality Entry under the Operations menu. The Update Quality screen appears.

    Field

    Description

    Assignment ID

    Select an Assignment ID, which is alphanumeric (Combination of Alphabets and Numbers)

    Employee ID

    Select a unique alphanumeric Employee ID.

    Occurrence Date

    Select the date of occurrence of the activity.

    Activity

    Select the activity corresponding to the selected assignment.

    Quality Type

    Select the type of the quality associated with an employee.

    Zone

    Select the employee's zone.

    Occurrence Quantity

    Type the number of occurrences made by the employee (i.e. the employee made 3 mispicks in one assignment so 3 would be entered for this field).

    Microzone

    Select the employee's microzone from the list.

    Occurrence Value

    Type the number of occurrences that will be held against the employee or assignment (i.e. the employee made 3 mispicks in one assignment but since they were all made in one assignment the value 1 would be entered for this field because the employee will only be held accountable for the assignment as opposed to the 3 mispicks).

    External

    Select this checkbox if the quality error is external.

    Checked Quantity

    Type the quantity of units picked in order to obtain a percentage of errors. The error percentage is obtained by dividing Occurence Quantity by Checked Quantity.

    Notes

    Type notes about the employee.

Adding Quality Record by Assignment

  • Currently, quality records cannot be edited once they are saved. Enter in the correct information at the time of creation.

To add a new Quality Record by assignments:

  1. Access the Update Quality screen.
  2. Click Assignment ID option.

  3. To select an Assignment ID, click  and the Search Assignment screen appears.

  4. Search for a particular assignment by specifying the Assignment ID and clicking .

  5. When you click the selected Assignment ID, the fields: Activity, Occurrence Date, and Employee ID associated with the selected assignment will be populated in the Update Quality screen.

  6. Click  and select Quality Type. Type Occurrence Quantity, Occurrence Value, Checked Quantity, Zone, Microzone, External and Description.
  7. Click  to save the quality record.

 

Adding Quality Record by Employee

To add a new Quality Record by assignments:

  1. Access the Update Quality screen.
  2. Click Employee ID option.
  3. To select Employee ID, click  and the Search Employee ID screen appears.

    Caution

    Make sure that you change the search setting from Assignment ID to Employee ID (viewable by the bubble next to the terms).

  4. Click the selected Employee ID, the Employee ID field is updated in the Update Quality screen.

  5. Click  and select Quality Type and activity. Also enter Occurrence Quantity, Occurrence Value, Checked Quantity, Zone, Microzone, External and Description.
  6. To select Assignment ID, click  and the Search Assignment screen appears. Then click the selected assignment ID link.
  7. To select Occurrence Date, click  and select the Occurrence Date.
  8. Click  to save the employee's quality record.

Searching Quality Records

The Quality Records can be searched for by providing the following search criteria in the Search Quality Update screen:

  • Assignment ID
  • Employee ID 

To search for particular quality records:

  1. Select the radio button to the left of Assignment ID if searching by Assignment ID or select the radio button to the left of Employee ID if searching by Employee ID.
  2. Click  in the Update Quality screen and a popup window appears.

  3. Select the mode of search, Assignment ID or Employee ID.

    Tip

    • To list the Quality Types with Assignment ID or Employee ID starting with a particular character, type the character in Assignment ID field, for example to search assignments starting with the character 'M' enter 'M' in the Assignment ID field to list assignments such as 'MAN514', 'Man568' and so on.
  4. Click  in the Update Quality screen. The records for the selected criteria are listed in the 'Quality Update Search Results' section of the Update Quality screen.

    • If no search criteria are specified, then all the quality records will be listed in the 'Quality Record Search Results' section.
Viewing A Quality Record

The quality records can be viewed and edited from the 'Quality Record Search Results' section in the Update Quality screen. The quality records can be viewed or edited based on the privileges of the user.

To view a quality record:

  1. Search and list the quality records you wish to view or edit in the 'Quality Record Search Results' section by providing a search criteria.
  2. Click the Employee ID from the 'Quality Update Search Results' section.

  3. The details of the quality record appear in the corresponding fields in the Update Quality screen.
