Documentation for ProTrackWarehouse 2017.1.

Configuring employee Schedules in ProTrack Warehouse provides a pretty good approximation of when employees will be working, but aren't perfect because employees may come in early or late, and likewise may leave early or late. In such cases, it's often necessary to adjust the scheduled start and end times, with the employee's actual start and end times. This is accomplished using either a Time and Attendance data feed or by editing the times manually. In cases where the start or end times need to be changed drastically due to the employee not being assigned to the correct Schedule Group, the buffer window may first need to be extended. The buffer window is a range of time in which if any assignments come into ProTrack during that time frame, the schedule will automatically extend to accept.

Info

  • If your ProTrack Warehouse system has a Time and Attendance (TA) data feed, then the Schedule Start and End Times are most often adjusted automatically by the actual swipe-in and out times captured by the TA system. In such cases, editing the Schedule Start and End Times manually is rarely required.

Editing Schedule Buffers

If there is a need to adjust a scheduled start time for a day(s), it can be done by editing buffer hours.

i.e  adjusting a buffer time for the following example. An employee was scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. but actually started working at 6:00 a.m., so it is necessary to adjust the Buffer Start Time.

Select the “Edit Work Hours” button above the work week.

A popup box will appear.

Enter the Start/End times under the “Work Hours” or “Buffer Hours” tab and click +Save

Can now be done with date/time picker

Enter the Start/End times under the “Buffer Hours” tab and click +Save
