Documentation for ProTrack Warehouse 2012 Q2.

CURRENT VERSION 2012Q2.3, PRIOR RELEASE: 2012Q2.2

Supported Web Browsers
  • Internet Explorer 9.0 and later
  • Firefox 8.0 and later

New Features

Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
  1. LDAP is a new functionality introduced to ProTrack Warehouse. When enabled, it will link employee ProTrack users to the client’s server. Information will be verified based on the configured employee ID within ProTrack Warehouse against the client active directory server.
  2. Groups/roles configured within LDAP can be used to assign a role for each employee within ProTrack. Instead of configuring the roles within ProTrack, they can be maintained in LDAP. If an employee is moved from one group to another within LDAP, ProTrack will also update the employee’s role the next time that employee logs in.
  3. If the employee does not exist within ProTrack but does in LDAP, ProTrack will automatically create the new employee using the configurations set within LDAP (such as usernames, roles, etc.).

Updates to Existing Functionality

Kiosk
  1. Kiosk now has the ability to put split assignments on hold instead of automatically ending them whenever a new assignment is started (without putting the previous assignment on hold).
  2. The kiosk auto-hold functionality can be enabled/disabled via Configuration > System screen.
Time Zone
  1. Added Central European time zone.
Misc
  1. All calendars have been updated to display the current along with the previous month.
  2. Dates can now be entered in manually instead of clicking on the calendar.
