Creating Event Scheduler

The Event Scheduler is the piece that ties together the agents with events or other inputs, and schedules when they should be executed. Schedules can be run at different frequencies, such as every 5 minutes, hourly, daily, or weekly. For the daily, or weekly options, an hour of the day at which time to run is available. For the weekly option, the day of week is also available. Also, schedules can be activated or inactivated by checking the Active checkbox.

To create an event scheduler:

1. Click on Event Scheduler from the Configuration menu.

2. Click  and a popup appears.

3. Select the Event Name, Agent Name, Frequency, and Day of Week from the corresponding drop down lists.

   • Day of Week field will only be used if the Frequency is set to Weekly.
4. Enter the Run Time of the event.
5. When the Active check box is selected, the scheduler will be active. Uncheck this box if the scheduler is no longer needed.

6. Click  and the event will be scheduled.

Deleting an Event Scheduler

To delete an event scheduler:

1. Select the check box to the left of the scheduled event.
2. Click  and the scheduled event will be removed.
